The Nikon D800E, Nikkor 35mm 1.4G and VSCO software – a marriage made in Heaven…well, actually made in Japan and California, if we’re going to start getting pedantic.
I use the D800E and 35mm for 90% of my personal and professional work. I think the 35mm is a perfect ‘Goldilocks’ lens – not too wide and not too telephoto, such a versatile focal length, with careful use you can make it look wider than it is, but you can also make it look as if a shot was taken on a 50mm. I did buy the Nikon 35-70 2.8, but it never sees the light of day from one week to the next.
